2011 SCS-accreditation (3D-calibration laboratory) by the Swiss Accreditation Service SAS
2010 Acquisition of a Leitz PMM 3D-measuring machine to expand our services towards calibration laboratory

STS-accreditation (test laboratory) by the Swiss Accreditation Service SAS

2006 Building of a measurement laboratory on the existing area, according to the VDI/VDE 2627 standard, quality grade 1
2005 The „high-precision mechanics“ sector as a service centre is closed to further expand the h3D measurement technology sector
2003 The 3D measurement technology sector is expanded. Change of the legal form to Gribi Messtechnik AG from 1st of January 2003
2002 Management system certification according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard
1995 The 3D-measurement technology is also offered as a service
1992 First certification ISO 9001 by the SQS in Zollikofen
1990 Takeover of the firm by the son Rudolf Gribi. The customers are still served with partial and final processing in the sections jig boring and jig grinding, the production of grippers and pincers for handling machines and robots, component and serial parts as well as assemblies for machines for the packaging of electronic components. New customers in the electronics, robot, handling and aviation industry can be acquired.
1988 Extension for the expansion of the in-house metrology. A CNC 3D measuring machine with corresponding software incl. log printer enlarges the machinery.
1985 Starting up of the first CNC milling machine incl. a vertical measuring instrument and a hand-operated 3D measuring machine
1962 Construction of and move-in to a new building on Industriestrasse in Büren a/A. Because of the economic situation the production of punching tools, devices and gauges is changed over to the high-precision mechanics sector for the machine and watchmaking industry.
1952 Foundation of the firm Werner Gribi. The Gribi company started their activities on the 1st of July on the Ländte in Büren a/A and was occupied with the production of punching tools, drilling attachments and gauges for companies in the apparatus and electronics industry. Till 1970 up to 15 skilled mechanics and toolmakers were employed.
